Vodafone DriveSafe is an innovative freeTXT service that helps keep you safe while driving. When DriveSafe is activated anyone who sends you a TXT will get a message that you’re driving and you’ll get back to them later. Vodafone DriveSafe is exclusive to Vodafone New Zealand and available to Vodafone mobile customers.
The DriveSafe app for your iPhone makes it even easier to use Vodafone DriveSafe. Simply tap the "Start Driving" button to send the "Drive On" command to Vodafone.
DriveSafe will even track your location and automatically remind you to turn off the service if you stop moving for more than 15 minutes.
Note: iOS 11 has new 'Do Not Disturb While Driving' feature which does what DriveSafe does, only better (it can turn on automatically and it works with iMessages). The DriveSave app is still available for users still uing older operating systems but is no longer bein maintained.
